Dr Tony Weston provides a number of evidence-based client services including:
Counselling services, including counselling for
- abuse
- addiction
- anxiety
- bereavement
- career decisions
- close relationship improvement
- couples
- distress
- eating problems
- enhanced well-being
- general counselling
- physical problems (alleviation of psychological effects)
- reduction in so-called 'negative cognitions' (negative thinking)
- reduction in risk of harm to self or others
- self esteem enhancement
- social relationship improvement
Counselling can be provided for individuals, including counsellors and trainee counsellors, couples and family groups.
Supervision services, including:
- clinical supervision (counsellors, therapists etc.)
- consultancy supervision (support in dealing with difficult people)
- parenting support (helping parents manage children)
Services for organisations, including:
- employee assistance counselling services (see above)
- executive coaching
- supervisory services (see above)
Therapy groups, training courses and lectures are subject to individual arrangements.
This Counselling Service is confidential. No one will be informed that you are coming to counselling without your consent. The only exceptions to this are times when I am seriously concerned about your well being or someone you know. Such circumstances are extremely rare and I will ordinarily discuss this with you beforehand. There are some circumstances where I am required by law to disclose information and these are ongoing child abuse, terrorist threats or drug trafficking (not drug use).
