Research

Tony Weston has a commitment to ongoing research as part of his professional practice and through his participation in the International Project on the Effectiveness of Psychotherapy and Psychotherapy Training (IPEPPT). All research is conducted within the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Guidelines for Researching Counselling and Psychotherapy.

You will normally be asked to complete one or more short questionnaires before, during and after your counselling, completion of these forms is voluntary. If you decide not to complete the forms this will not affect your therapy in any way, nor will anything you put on the questionnaire. Your confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us and you will not be identified in anything we write or publish about our research.

Please note that there are no guarantees in therapy and 'past performance is no guide to the future'.
